• Quantum: Inspiration informed by Data
    Monday 9 April 2018

Our ever popular Monday Conference attracts all those keen to keep abreast of what’s happening in the global industry, to see how others are tackling the current challenges, to hear voices unheard before at publishing conferences, to learn about new audiences, markets, channels and talent, network with global colleagues, and to be motivated and inspired. It has become the accelerator to the Fair itself. 2018’s offering, chaired by Matt Haslum, is poised to deliver all that you expect and more! Last time more than 20 nations attended; we expect to see a similar reach in April, as the world’s publishing community descends on London.

Practicing what we preached in Quantum 2017, we surveyed our global audiences, in partnership with Nielsen Book, to elicit the topics people want to see addressed in 2018. Armed with this insightful data, and with a great steering committee, we are now busy creating a compelling programme, delivered by exciting and quality speakers. Session themes include: future trends and tactics; new audiences; discovery; and the new creative talent, plus an afternoon focused solely on Audio, discussing the growing audio market; rights challenges, creating audio, and how to market audio.

Quantum is on track to deliver a stellar speaker roster, probably our best yet. For starters, we’ve landed Head of Innovation at Zenith Media USA, and LinkedIn’s No 1 voice in Marketing, Tom Goodwin; Hachette CEO David Shelley, and Adjoa Andoh, BBC Actress and audio narrator.

    Other confirmed speakers coming soon.
